These terms cover buying and using PasteBuddy, a Mac app made by Surendra Pandar (“we”, “us”). By buying or using PasteBuddy, you agree to them.
Buying PasteBuddy
PasteBuddy is a one-time purchase ($5 at the current price, before any tax). There is no subscription and nothing renews. Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, who handles payment, tax, invoicing and receipts. Their terms also apply to the checkout. Prices may change, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.
Your licence
When you buy PasteBuddy, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime licence to use it on up to 3 Macs that you own or control. You can move the licence between Macs by deactivating it in Settings. You may not:
- Resell, rent, share or publish the app or your license key.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this term.
- Remove or bypass the license check or any notices in the app.
PasteBuddy remains our property. The licence gives you the right to use it, not ownership.
Updates and support
Your purchase includes all 1.x updates. We aim to keep PasteBuddy working with new versions of macOS but can't guarantee it. Support is by email at surendrapandar.work@gmail.com, on a best-effort basis. PasteBuddy needs macOS 12 Monterey or later.
Refunds
If PasteBuddy isn't right for you, email surendrapandar.work@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your payment ID or the email you bought with, and we'll give you a full refund through Dodo Payments. A refunded license is deactivated. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Your data
PasteBuddy stores your clipboard history only on your Mac (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for what you copy and keep, for excluding apps whose content you don't want stored, and for backing up your Mac.
Disclaimer and liability
PasteBuddy is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, and aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law or removes your rights as a consumer.
Ending the licence
You can stop using PasteBuddy at any time by deleting it. If you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your key publicly, your licence ends and the key may be disabled.
General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. The terms in effect when you bought PasteBuddy continue to apply to that purchase.
